Gail Larcom grew up in Salida, Colorado, and now lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She paints portraits in watercolor, and landscapes in acrylic and pastel. Southern Colorado, Northern New Mexico, and all of the 4 corners area, provide endless views that inspire paintings. One special source of subject matter is the view out her front door, of piñon trees and the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range. Seasons and times of day provide limitless opportunity for exploring color, light and shadow.
